Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is likely to miss multiple games due to a strained left groin.
The 33-year-old basketball player picked up the injury in the Lakers' 127-101 home victory over the defending champions Golden State Warriors, where he had 17 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists before leaving the game in the third quarter, reports Xinhua news agency.
Staying in Los Angeles while the team travelled to Sacramento to face the Kings, Lebron James had to see his consecutive appearance record stop at 156.
James averaged 27.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 7.1 assists in his first 34 games for the Lakers after the blockbuster move from Cleveland last summer.
