IPL: Gujarat opt to bat against Mumbai

Gujarat Lions captain Suresh Raina won the toss and elected to bat against Mumbai Indians in an Indian Premier League (IPL) game at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium here on Saturday evening.

Gujarat have made one change to their side which defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore on Thursday, bringing in Irfan Pathan in place of pacer Nathu Singh.

For the visitors, pacer Lasith Malinga and Krunal Pandya have replaced Mitchell Johnson and Karn Sharma.

The teams:

Gujarat Lions: Brendon McCullum, Aaron Finch, Suresh Raina (Captain), Dinesh Karthik (WK), Ishan Kishan, Ravindra Jadeja, James Faulkner, Andrew Tye, Irfan Pathan, Basil Thampi, Ankit Soni.

Mumbai Indians: Rohit Sharma (Captain), Parthiv Patel (WK), Jos Buttler, Nitish Rana, Keiron Pollard, Hardik Pandya, Harbhajan Singh, Krunal Pandya, Mitchell McClenaghan, Jasprit Bumrah, Lasith Malinga.
