She was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Thursday with severe stomach pain, reports aceshowbiz.com
A source claimed she was crying when she arrived at the facility and minutes later her actor father Alec Baldwin arrived to be by her side.
A source close to the family said that doctors have been predicting Ireland may have appendicitis. "They're still running tests to make sure,"added the source.
An official statement on the 19-year-old model's latest health condition is expected to be made by either her family of the doctors who treat her.
Ireland has shared a tweet photograph of herself sitting in a wheelchair in a hospital gown with a gloomy stare at the camera.
She captioned the image: "appendicitis swag thanks for all of your concern."
