Isner edges Hewitt to enter Atlanta Open final
John Isner from the US edged Australian veteran Lleyton Hewitt 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (5) to advance to the final of Atlanta Open tennis tournament.
Isner would face another big server, Kevin Anderson, in the final Sunday night, reports Xinhua.
"It's my third final here, and I would certainly like to win it but I'm not putting any extra pressure on myself," said Isner about the final.
Isner has won five of the previous eight meetings against Anderson.
