Jamia Millia Islamia Vice Chancellor Najeeb Jung has been nominated to the expert committee that will prepare a report on backwardness in Indian states, officials said Thursday.
"The vice chancellor, Jamia Millia Islamia, has been nominated to the expert committee for evolving a composite development index of states, which has been constituted by the (union) ministry of finance," a Jamia statement said.
