Japan on Wednesday expressed concern over the shortage of essential materials, especially fuel and petroleum products in Nepal.
In a press release, the Japanese embassy here expressed its worry over the crisis impacting the daily lives of people, Xinhua reported.
"The fuel shortage is preventing post-earthquake relief community including the international organisations and NGOs from effectively conducting their humanitarian activities towards the affected areas," the statement said.
"We will continue to actively support Nepal's reconstruction efforts to 'Build Back Better' from the earthquake disaster," the statement added.
