Actress Jessica Biel is all set to star in television pilot "The Sinner".
Biel is also attached as an executive producer to the crime thriller, reports variety.com.
"The Sinner" is an hour-long drama that follows a young mother who is overcome by an inexplicable fit of rage and commits a startling and very public act of violence -- and to her horror has no idea why.
Based on Petra Hammesfahr's book of the same name, the pilot was written and created by Derek Simonds.
"The Sinner" marks Biel's return to TV as a series regular, following "7th Heaven", which launched her career. She left the series in 2006 to focus on films.
