Airline major Jet Airways on Tuesday announced the appointment of a chief people officer.
The company appointed Rahul Taneja, who will be responsible for shaping the operations and performance of the group as chief people officer.
Acording to the airline major, Taneja will join the executive management committee that has been tasked by the Jet Airways board of directors to drive the company's growth and future strategy.
"He (Taneja) brings with him a global HR management perspective and, I'm sure, Jet Airways will benefit substantially from his expertise and experience locally and internationally," said Naresh Goyal, chairman of Jet Airways.
