Private carrier Jet Airways on Monday announced introduction of new generation in-flight wireless streaming service In-flight Entertainment (IFE) for its customers.
"This best-in-class, customer-focused initiative will provide superior entertainment and communication options to guests and we are confident it will set new benchmarks," said the airline's senior vice president, commercial, Gaurang Shetty in a statement.
IFE will directly stream video and audio content to passengers' WiFi-enabled devices like smartphones, tablets and laptops.
Scheduled to be available by the second quarter of 2016, Jet Airways teamed up with Global Eagle Entertainment to develop IFE, the statement added.
