Jharkhand assembly's winter session will begin Dec 13, an official said Friday.
The Jharkhand cabinet Friday approved nine proposals, including holding the winter session from Dec 13-20.
The cabinet also gave the nod for five working days in a week in the state secretariat from Jan 1 next year. Initially, the five-day week will be implemented for two months. The timings of the working days will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The other proposals include transferring 130 acres of land for coal mining to the Jharkhand State Mineral Development Corporation at Sikni colliery situated in Latehar district for 11 years.
