Cricket Australia (CA) Sunday announced that Joe Mennie had received a fine for breaching the CA Code of Behaviour during the Queensland vs South Australia, Bupa Sheffield Shield match Saturday.
Mennie was reported by the umpires for breaching Article 2.1.4 -- using language that is obscene, offensive or insulting during a match, CA said in a media statement.
Mennie accepted the proposed penalty of a fine equal to 20 percent of his match fee by Match Referee David Tullala.
