Director Joe Wright will helm Warner Bros.' new "Peter Pan" movie.
The 41-year-old has been signed up to helm the new big screen movie starring the fairytale hero for Warner Bros., and the project is being described as an introductory film, similar to "Batman Begins".
Greg Berlanti, best known for creating superhero TV show "Arrow", will produce the film and Jason Fuchs has penned the script, reports contactmusic.com.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. is "very high" on its latest project and has made it "one of its priorities".
The character of Peter Pan was created by Scottish author J.M. Barrie and the green-clad youth has been the subject of many movies, including a famous 1953 Disney animated feature.
