Jonas Brothers delete Twitter account

Members of pop rock band Jonas Brothers have deleted their official Twitter handle sparking rumours of their split.

The band recently cancelled their US tour following an argument between the siblings and other members of the band - Joe, Nick and Kevin.

When trying to access their social networking page, the page shows: "Sorry, that page doesn't exist!" reports contactmusic.com.

Their tour was due to start in Philadelphia Oct 11.

"There is a deep rift within the band. There was a big disagreement over their music direction," Jesse Derris, spokesperson for Jonas Brothers, said.
