Actor Josh Hutcherson regrets doing sci-fi adventure movie "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" as he feels it has destroyed his privacy.

The 21-year-old says he had no idea that his role as Peeta Mellark would rocket him into super-stardom.

"There's definitely times you have people outside of your house waiting for you to leave and they follow you everywhere... and then they follow you back to your house," the New York Daily News quoted Hutcherson as saying.

"I wouldn't have signed up for all of this if I knew I was going to get stripped of my liberties as an American," he added.
