Joshna loses, takes bronze in squash championships

Joshna Chinnappa went down 6-11, 9-11, 7-11, to World No.1 Nicol David of Malaysia in the semi-finals but secured a bronze medal in the Asian Senior Individual Squash Championship here on Monday.

With the defeat, the Indian challenge in the Asian Senior Individual squash championship ended in the tournament.

Chinnappa's exit followed that of second seed Saurav Ghosal who lost his quarter-final match to Pakistan's Nasir Iqbal 15-13, 7-11, 4-11, 5-11, late Sunday night.
