Actress Juhi Parmar, who will be seen alongside her husband actor Sachin Shroff in "Santoshi Maa", says the forthcoming soap opera is a "reflection of the society" that we live in.
"This show has given both Sachin and myself an opportunity to come together on-screen and share the same screen space after a really long time," Juhi, who has previously appeared with Sachin in shows like "Aajaa Mahi Vay", "Bigg Boss 5", "Pati Patni Aur Woh" and "Maa Exchange", said in a statement.
"I'm a believer of Santoshi Maa and this year, I don't know why, but I had kept a fast without as much anything particular in mind. However, we got this offer in Navratri and things just fell in place.
"I couldn't refuse the offer. The show "Santoshi Maa" is a reflection of the society. While we all get so competitive in life to make a career and get ahead in the race, we forget appreciating the things we have and feeling satisfied with what we have achieved," she added.
While Juhi will be seen sporting Banaras cotton saris, Sachin will be seen in crisp cotton kurta pajama.
Talking about the show, Sachin said: "When we were narrated this show, we took a step back to realise that we too like anyone else are the same. Like they say when you start working you crave for a family and when you have a family you work even harder to provide the best for them.
"But this best can never be quantified and one is never content. 'Santoshi Maa' is an extremely promising show and shooting for the episodes in Bhopal has been a pleasant change."
"Santoshi Maa", which will be aired on &TV, will start on November 30.
