Abhinav Kashyap is known for his masala entertainer, while his elder brother and filmmaker Anurag Kashyap's forte is parallel cinema. And the "Dabangg" director says they want to rule different areas of Bollywood.
"When Anurag will get into masala films, then probably I will think of making his kind of cinema. We both brothers want to rule different areas of Bollywood," Abhinay said in a group interview.
"We are mafias. We don't operate in each other's area," he added jokingly.
While Abhinav made it big with his directorial debut "Dabangg", a mass entertainer, Anurag carved a niche for himself with dark dramas "Black Friday", "Gangs Of Wasseypur", and "Dev D" among others.
Abhinav gives credit to his brother for his film career and said that they both are "happy for each other".
"I am proud that everybody knows my elder brother," said Abhinav, but added that his brother sometimes feels his journey has been not easy.
"Anurag at times says that with just one film you have made a mark for yourself and look at me, I have done so many films, still people don't know me."
Abhinav is currently busy promoting "Besharam", which has Ranbir Kapoor in the title role and the cast also features his parents and yesteryear super hit on screen couple - Neetu and Rishi Kapoor. Pallavi Sharda will be seen as the female lead in the movie.
