Katie Holmes wants many grandchildren

Katie Holmes's daughter Suri is all of eight years, but the actress is already dreaming about becoming a grandmother of many children.

The 35-year-old star said in an interview that as her parents had a big family, she too wishes to have a family of many grandkids, reports people.com.

"The Holmes family is enormous, because my dad was the youngest of five, and I'm the youngest of five, I was the youngest of all the grandchildren," she said.

Recollecting her special bonding with her paternal grandmother, Holmes said: "She used to give me her clip-on earrings, and I thought she was so glamorous, And she used to say to me, 'Katie, you have such pretty eyes ? they're just like mine'. I'm going to say that to my many grandkids someday, and I can't wait."
