Katy Perry plans children?

Singer Katy Perry and boyfriend John Mayer are planning to have children together.

The "Roar" hitmaker is hoping to get pregnant with her 36-year-old boyfriend and the pair is thrilled about the prospect of starting a family, reports contactmusic.com.

"Katy brought up the idea of having a baby a few weeks ago. He was really supportive and said he'd love her to be the mother of his child," said a source.

However, friends of Perry, who split from ex-husband Russell Brand in 2012, are worried about her rushing into things, especially as Mayer has previously dated Taylor Swift, Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Aniston and he has a long list of failed romances.
