Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday met Under-19 cricketer Manjot Kalra and congratulated him for the victory at the ICC World Cup finals against Australia, an official statement said.
Accompanied by his family members, Kalra, who was one of the stars of the Indian victory, called upon the Chief Minister at Delhi Secretariat, it said, adding Kejriwal praised him.
"We all are very proud of you, not only Delhi but the entire nation is looking forward to your career ahead," Kejriwal said.
"Delhi government is always there for any kind of assistance, you can come to us anytime for any help required," he said.
"Delhi Government will felicitate the young cricketer soon," he added.
Kalra scored a century in the finals of the under-19 World Cup and was declared the man of the match.
