Kenyan athlete collapses at Olympic stadium

Kenyan long-distance runner Irine Chebet Cheptai collapsed on the track after finishing the 3000 metre race at the Olympic stadium here.
Cheptai, who finished 11th with a personal best timing of eight minutes 56.20 seconds, fell on the track unconscious just after crossing the finish line.
The track-side doctors rushed to her and administered oxygen. She was stretchered off in an uncouncious state, Daily Mail reported.
The 21-year-old was carried out on a stretcher and regained consciousness only in the hospital.
