Four CISF personnel, who went on a rampage at the airport here on Wednesday night, were arrested on Sunday, Kerala Police said.
B. Santhosh, a member of Kerala Police team that was probing the brawl between CISF personnel and Airports Authority of India officials, told IANS that it was after extensive checking of CCTV visuals that the CISF personnel were arrested.
They were charged with destruction of public property. "All the four will be produced before a magistrate tomorrow (Monday)," said Santhosh.
During the brawl, CISF trooper A.S. Yadav died of a bullet injury.
The CCTV visuals reportedly showed angry CISF personnel damaging property inside and outside the airport after coming to know of Yadav's death.
Police also charged some AAI officials with culpable homicide not amounting to murder for the death of Yadav.
Meanwhile, officials of CISF and Kerala Police met here to work out an action plan to ensure that similar incidents do not occur in future, an official said.
