Kolkata Knight Rider's (KKR) chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav, who returned with impressive figures of 2-28 against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday in an Indian Premier League tie, said there was a lot of pressure on him but after the first over he settled down.
"There is always pressure when you are playing the last game of the group stage where you need to win. I also had come in as a replacement for Piyush Chawla who is a senior player, so there was immense pressure. But after the first over it was gone," Kuldeep said at the post-match media conference.
The tweaker dismissed the dangerous looking Shikhar Dhawan -- who had just got to a brisk 50 -- in the 12th over which put the brakes on the Sunrisers scoring rate.
"I have seen some of his (Dhawan) videos. I tried not to give him sixes or fours. I was bowling according to the field and then got his wicket," he said.
While batting, KKR struggled to step on the gas in the last few overs and only managed 30 runs in the last five overs. But Kuldeep refuses to see it as a problem.
"They bowled very well in the last five overs. There is nothing wrong with the batting. They were bowling good Yorkers," he said.
