India's chief football coach Wim Koevarmans has shortlisted five seniors, including captain Sunil Chettri, for the Asian Games to be held in Incheon, South Korea, Sep 19-Oct 4.
The other four players are Francis Fernandes, Robin Singh, Balwant Singh and Victorino Fernandes.
They all would be part of the under-23 preparatory camp after which the final squad would be selected. Only three senior players can be a part of the under-23 team for the Asian Games.
Scott O'Donell, technical director, AIFF Academies, also the director, coach education would be Koevermans' assistant for the Asian Games.
