Kolkata home guard arrested for molesting minor

A home guard of the Kolkata Police was arrested for allegedly molesting a minor girl, the police said on Tuesday.

Dilip Sha, a home guard of the Kolkata Police, was arrested on Monday night for molesting a minor girl near B.G. Press in South Kolkata's Alipore when she was alone, an officer of the Alipore police station said.

The accused home guard was arrested based on the complaints made by the girl's parents.

"He will be presented in the court today where we would ask for his police remand," the officer said.
