Kuwait executed seven prisoners on Wednesday, including a prince of the royal family and five foreigners, media reports said.
According to a source from the public prosecutor's office, Faisal Al Abdullah Al Sabah of the royal family has been sentenced for premeditated murder and possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition, Efe news quoted official news agency Kuna as saying.
Others executed included a Kuwaiti woman, a Filipina, an Ethiopian woman, two Egyptian men and a Bangladeshi man.
Six of the prisoners were sentenced for murder while the Bangladeshi man was sentenced for kidnapping, rape and theft.
Since 1960, Kuwait has executed 50 prisoners that include the current seven.
