As many as 105 Indian amateur golfers will be participating in the seventh edition of the ladies open amateur golf championship at the Delhi Golf Club here, starting Tuesday.
The 54-hole tournament will see many Indian Golf Union ranked players, namely Diksha Dagar, Tvesa Malik, Sifat Sagoo and Anika Varma among others.
Commenting on the upcoming event, Usha International event Head Komal Mehra said " Usha is supporting ladies amateur golf for the last 29 years. This collaboration is a part of Usha's larger effort in promoting sports among the youth and especially women."
"This unwavering support to golf has encouraged many promising young talents across the nation to pursue the sport in a professional manner," she added.
