Las Palmas managed to eke out a 3-3 draw against Celta in an away La Liga match despite being a man down early on after goalkeeper Javi Varas was red carded in the 10th minute.
Las Palmas didn't play well early in the match on Sunday, showing no defensive intensity and finding itself dominated in the first 20 minutes, and was already down 0-2 and missing Varas, reports Efe.
Las Palmas initially used a four-defender strategy to strengthen their defence, but the tactic proved unsuccessful with Celta Vigo's forwards Nolito, Fabian Orellana and Iago Aspas creating a nightmare for them.
It was Orellana who put the home team ahead at the Balaidos Stadium before 19,000 fans from a penalty kick that Varas conceded in the 10th minute.
Celta Vigo's Danish striker Daniel Wass made it 2-0 seven minutes later.
Sergio Araujo reduced the margin in the 22nd minute to make it 2-1, and Nolito answered back in the 48th minute to give Celta a 3-1 advantage.
However, Araujo scored again in the 61st minute and centre-back David Simon made it 3-3 in the 74th minute.
Celta now has seven points after three matches, two behind frontrunners FC Barcelona, while Las Palmas has just two.
