Actress Lea Michele has thanked actress Kate Hudson for rescuing her from paparazzi following the death of her boyfriend and co-star Cory Monteith.
Hudson, who guest-starred on TV musical drama "Glee" as dance teacher Cassandra in July, offered her home to Michele, reports eonline.com.
"I called Kate Hudson and said, 'I don't know where I'm going to go because my house is swarmed with reporters'," Michele told Elle magazine.
"She was like, 'Oh, you're going to stay at my house'. Like it was nothing. No one knew I was there. I'll never really be able to thank her, truly, for what she did for me," she added.
The 27-year-old will appear on Elle magazine's cover for its December issue that hits news stands Nov 19.
Michele and Monteith started dating at the beginning of 2012, after she split from her long time boyfriend and actor Theo Stockman.
Monteith was found dead July 13 in Vancouver from overdose of a mix of alcohol and heroin.
