The Odisha Crime Branch on Friday busted a racket in leopard skin smuggling and arrested seven persons in Sambalpur district.
The Special Task Force of the Crime Branch seized four leopard skins in Kuchinda area of Sambalpur, said a Crime Branch official.
Acting on a tip-off, the officials of the STF conducted a raid and busted the racket.
The official said they were interrogating the arrested persons to get further information on the involvement of other persons and inter-state trade.
