If you are wary of buying overpriced shaving products, there are going to be more options now with global brand Dorco entering the Indian market through home grown LetsShave.
Besides a range of products including a six-blade razor with trimmer, the collaboration would also be offering a Dollar Shave Club that claims a membership of over two million people in the US.
"India's first shaving club will provide a holistic experience to its members and ensure that they have a smooth silky shave, the best its members have ever had," a company statement said.
According to Sidharth Shankar Oberoi, founder and CEO, LetsShave, "The Indian shaving market is estimated at around Rs 1500 crore with a growth of roughly 10 percent per annum."
The company's website www.letsshave.com is already live. They would be selling their products through ecommerce websites.
Dorco is a well known US based brand in the shaving razor, razor blade, kitchen knives and stationery cutters category.
"Indian men's grooming products market is expected to grow at a rate of 20 percent per annum till 2020, where shaving products will control the largest market share in terms of revenue," Oberoi added.
