To help budding designers, Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2014 has introduced Stage one, a platform that will host emerging talent.
The fashion week starts March 12 and during the five-day event the platform will host shows, fashion workshops, seminars and launches every day, said a statement.
Stage One will be set up adjacent to the main show area. It will be a flexible space to allow all fashion formats and will also showcase street style fashion.
Some of the designers who will get a chance to showcase their work as a part of Stage One includes Ami Grewal from Goa, Anushree Reddy from Hyderabad, Armaan and Aiman from Delhi and Farah Sanjana from Jalandhar.
Designer Rajesh Pratap Singh will present his line at the grand finale of the fashion extravaganza.
