Light rainfall in Delhi on Friday

It was a sunny Thursday in the national capital with the maximum temperature settling down at 34.7 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average. The met office forecast light rainfall on Friday.

"The sky will remain partly cloudy on Friday. One or two spells of rain or thundershower may occur in some areas," said an India Meteorological Department official.

The maximum and minimum temperatures on Friday would hover around 32 and 21 degrees Celsius, respectively.

Thursday's minimum temperature was recorded at a warmish 21 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average.

Wednesday's minimum and maximum temperature settled at 18.4 degrees Celsius and 32 degrees Celsius, respectively.
