Light rains expected in Delhi

The national capital witnessed a cloudy Tuesday morning with the Met office predicting light rains for the region.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.

"The sky will remain mostly cloudy with chances of light rains in the National Capital Region," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

The maximum temperature was expected to hover around 35 degrees Celsius. The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 71 per cent.

Monday's maximum temperature settled at 34.5 degrees Celsius, the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 23 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season's average.
