Singer Beyonce Knowles was forced to halt her show at Raleigh, North Carolina, due to bad weather.

The open-air concert which took place at the Carter-Finley Stadium on Tuesday had to be stopped midway through because of lightning, reports aceshowbiz.com.

The concert was part of Beyonce's ongoing "Formation" tour.

She performed some of her songs in the pouring rain before fans were finally evacuated at around 10 p.m. She eventually resumed the show at 11:30 p.m. after the storm passed.

"Thank y'all so much! The show is not over!" she told concertgoers upon returning to the stage.
