Five people, including three members of a family, were injured after lightning struck a Delhi village on Wednesday morning, police said.
Kiran, 37, and her two sons Himanshu, 14, and Mohit, 12, suffered injuries along with Jaikishan, 40, and Shashi, 30, when lightning struck near a police post in Hiranke village in west Delhi's Alipur area around 10 a.m.
Police said the injured were rushed to a hospital and are out of danger.
Heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning lashed Delhi on Wednesday morning.
