Serie A runners-up Napoli on Wednesday confirmed the acquisition of French right-back Kevin Malcuit from Ligue 1 side Lille.
Born in Chatenay-Malabry, France, Malcuit came through the youth ranks at Monaco before being promoted to the senior squad in 2010, reports Xinhua news agency.
Following several loan spells at different clubs, his breakthrough season came in 2014/15 while playing for Niort in Ligue 2.
That earned Malcuit a move to Ligue 1 outfit Saint-Etienne, where he went on to make 46 appearances in all competitions in the following two seasons.
Lille then recruited Malcuit in the summer of 2017 and he went on to play 25 games for them last term.
