Actress Lindsay Lohan's stepmother Kate Major Lohan was reportedly arrested for drunkenly attacking her husband, Michael Lohan.
Michael called Boca Raton police on April 16 after Kate had struck him, reports tmz.com.
He said that Kate came home after having dinner and was visibly drunk. She began to physically strike him by scratching down his back. Unfortunately, he didn't wear a shirt at that time.
When the police came, Kate was visibly intoxicated and smelled of alcohol. The police said that she slurred her words as she admitted that she had several glasses of wine.
According to Kate, the battle began when Michael was accusing her of cheating on him with a man at her new gym. Kate also claimed Michael grabbed her by the throat.
"She began to say that (Michael Lohan) grabbed her throat, she then scratched at her throat area in an attempt to create red marks," the report said.
But there is no visible sign of injury on her body.
Officers took Kate to the Palm Beach County Jail and booked her for battery, but she was released later on her own recognisance.
Kate married Michael in October 2013 and the couple was blessed with two sons, two-year-old Landon and three-month-old Logan.
