Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez was involved in a car crash caused by a suspected drunk driver in Malibu, California.

She was travelling with her six-year-old twins Max and Emme and her friend Leah Remini and everyone in the car was unharmed.

The group was going to a Demi Lovato concert when they were rear-ended by a drunk driver along the Pacific Coast Highway Saturday night.

The Latin star took to photo-sharing website Instagram to express her anger, reports eonline.com.

"Sitting at a light, riding high right before some drunk fool rear ended us in my new whip!!!," the "Booty" singer posted.

"Thank god everyone ok!!! #GRATEFUL #THANKYOUGOD #DontdrinkandDrive!!!! #cursedthatfoolout #theBronxcameout #dontmesswithmycocnuts #mamabear #leahstayedcalm #thatwasweird," she further posted.

On Saturday night, Remini was driving JLo's new SUV while the singer sat in the passenger's seat and her son and daughter sat in the back. The vehicle was rear-ended by a man driving a small pickup truck, said a police official.

"The group and the male driver got out of their cars and as they started to exchange information, the man then returned to his truck and sped off.

"A police officer pulled him over a short distance away and arrested him on suspicion of hit-and-run and driving under the influence," the official added.

The man has not been identified and has not commented.
