Pop star Madonna's 16-year-old daughter Lourdes reportedly stopped her mother from attending a VIP night at Lincoln Center here.
The teenager, who is dating "Homeland" actor Timothee Chalamet, 17, insisted that Madonna should rip up her tickets.
"Madonna bought premium tickets to the gala and was planning to take toyboy lover Brahim Zaibat, but Lourdes begged her not to come. She didn't want the event to turn into a circus, and she knows anything to do with her mum can end up being hijacked," dailystar.co.uk quoted a source as saying.
