Former technical director of the United States luge team Duncan Kennedy was Wednesday appointed coach of India's veteran athlete Shiva Keshavan.
"Keshavan, who will aim to reclaim the Asian Championships title in December, will get support from ex-technical director of the United States luge team and winner of 21 world titles, Duncan Kennedy, who has been appointed Keshavan's personal coach for the next four years," Indian luge team high performance director Namita Agarwal said in a release.
Namita also said that the New York based Clarkson University will offer technological support to the Indian team.
Shiva is currently training at Lake Placid, New York.
