Welsh actor Luke Evans will be seen playing the lead character in �"The Crow�" remake.
The remake of 1994 film is being directed by F. Javier Gutierrez and produced by Relativity Media.
The actor known for his roles in films like �"Immortals�", �"Clash of the Titans�" and �"The Three Musketeers�" was reportedly the original choice for the role played by Brandon Lee Alex Proyas-directed film, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
The 34-year-old will follow in the footsteps of Lee in playing the character of Eric Draven (The Crow), a man who is brutally murdered, but comes back to life to take revenge of his and his fiance's murder.
He will also be seen in action film �"Fast & Furious 6�".
