New Lyon coach Bruno Genesio, the successor of Hubert Fournier, will debut in the Coupe de France match against Limoges on January 3.
Genesio will make his debut in Ligue 1 on January 9 against Troyes in the 20th round of Ligue 1.
Genesio, 49, who was an assistant of Fournier, will lead the training session of his side starting from next Monday after the end of the player's Christmas holidays.
Lyon decided to fire Fournier due to poor results, since the French team suffered five defeats and a draw in its last six games to hold the ninth place in Ligue 1, in addition to being eliminated from the group stage of the Champions League.
