Leading Indian conglomerate Mahindra Group on Monday forayed into branded pulses space with the launch of 'NuPro' tur dal.
"Our Agri business helps us to deliver on our long-term aspiration of 'Farm-Tech Prosperity'. Today, with 'NuPro' pulses, we are taking another important step in our journey toward becoming a complete value chain player," said Mahindra & Mahindra executive director Pawan Goenka.
Earlier, the company launched NuPro mustard oil in Kolkata and envisages to introduce a range of pulses across major markets in the next three years.
Mahindra Agri Business claimed that NuPro Tur dal takes 50 percent lesser time to cook over other available dals in the market.
