Mamata condemns Karachi bus attack

West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress chairperson Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday condemned the attack on a bus in Karachi in Pakistan calling it an "act of cowardice".

"My sympathies and condolences to the families of the victims of Karachi bus attack. We condemn such acts of cowardice," said Banerjee.

At least 45 people were killed and 20 injured when gunmen opened fire inside a bus carrying Ismaili Shia Muslims in the Pakistani port city of Karachi.
