Mamnoon Hussain to be sworn in next week

Pakistan President-elect Mamnoon Hussain will be sworn in by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary Sep 9.

The oath taking ceremony, scheduled to be held at Aiwan-i-Sadr at 2.30 a.m., is to be attended by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, federal ministers, parliamentarians, and foreign ambassadors, Online news agency reported.

He will replace President Asif Ali Zardari who retires Sep.8 following completion of his five-year term.
