A man was beaten to death at Shankar Market in Connaught Place area of New Delhi on Tuesday night, police said.
Police said the deceased Biju Varghese hailed from Kerala. He was staying in Chilla village in east Delhi, with his family. He used to run a courier company here.
At around 11.30 p.m,. two miscreants attacked Varghese allegedly with a helmet and fled the scene leaving him badly injured. Immediately after the attack, Varghese's helpers informed the police about the incident.
Police took Varghese to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
"...we have launched a search operation to nab the criminals," a police official told IANS.
