A man was arrested in Odisha Thursday for posting vulgar and obscene photographs of a woman on Facebook after she rejected his marriage proposal, police said.
Gautam Pandit, 23, was arrested from the steel city of Rourkela in Sundergarh district, about 500 km from here, a crime branch official told IANS.
The cyber crime police station had registered a case against the accused on the complaint given by the woman Dec 31 last year.
Investigation pointed to evidence against Pandit, a native of Kamanpur village in Balasore district, the official said.
Pandit posted the obscene photos of the woman, also from Balasore district, after she rejected his marriage proposal, he said.
