A man on Friday tried to jump on to the floor of the Lok Sabha but was overpowered by the security staff.
The man, identified as Rakesh Singh Baghel, was taken away for questioning by the security personnel. He hails from Shivpuri district in Madhya Pradesh, Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan told the House.
Baghel tried to jump into the House around 11.20 a.m. after Mahajan adjourned its till noon.
The Speaker sought the opinion of the house on the matter.
