Director Sharat Katariya, who is currently enjoying the success of his film "Dum Laga Ke Haisha" says his producer Maneesh Sharma was confident about the film.
"When you make a film you do not think how the audience is going to react to your film. But the reactions we are getting for the film from the audience is fabulous. It was an honest attempt and I am glad it worked," Katariya told reporters in a group interview.
"I was nervous but Maneesh was very confident that this film will work," he added.
"Dum Laga Ke Haisha", that released on Friday, features Ayushmann Khurana and Bhumi Padnekar in lead roles.
For casting Bhumi in the film, he said: "As far as Bhumi is concerned there was no doubt that she acted brilliantly but, I was a little sceptical about her UP diction so I was a little confused about that. But she trained herself and I am glad her performance is being appreciated."
